About Me

Hi there, I’m Bhaama

I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.

My journey into counselling began with a deep curiosity about people, their stories, their resilience, and the quiet strength it takes to keep going even when things feel heavy. Over time, that curiosity grew into a commitment to creating a space where people feel truly seen, heard, and supported.

I believe that healing begins in relationship, in having someone sit with you, without judgement, and gently hold space for your experiences. In our work together, you will be met with warmth, compassion, and respect. There is no pressure to have the “right” words or to present yourself in a certain way. You are welcome exactly as you are.

Above all, I bring my genuine presence into counselling. To me, counselling is about walking alongside you as you reconnect with your strengths, clarity, and capacity for growth.  If you feel ready, I would be happy to support you on your journey.

I have experience supporting individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, low mood, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief, and trauma-related concerns. I understand that seeking support can feel vulnerable, and I honour the courage it takes to reach out.

My credentials are:

  • Master of Counselling (MCouns) with Monash University

  • Master of Social Work (MSW) with University of South Australia now known as Adelaide University

  • Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computing

Professional Membership: Level 3 Registered Counsellor with Australian Counselling Association (ACA).
